Mae is making me contribute to the website, which is fair enough because otherwise it might as well just be maeandmoremaewritingabouttulpesh.com
Because I (a) have the imagination of a gnat and (b) am a little weary about succumbing to the tedious narcissistic trait necessary in any blogger, my very first entry will just be a list of things that are currently either making me happy or are really pissing me off.
Things currently making me happy:
- Mae’s success
- My exciting and interesting PhD
- Racking up achievement points on my ’360
- Playing with Matilda and giving her treats
- Getting to nap on the train instead of the exhausting vigilance required when driving because I am scared of dying/killing someone
- The thought that there are people out there who will return lost wallets full of a lot of money, with only some stamps, small change and a Cafe Nero loyalty card missing – thank you kind Polish person
- Listening to Radiohead on my phone/mp3. Bliss!

Things currently pissing me off:
- My inability to make decisions. About anything. Which segues nicely to..
- Being unable to decide whether to fritter away my Gamestation voucher (if so, what on? COD4, Halo3, GoW? arggh!) or, just hang on to it until the games I want are cheaper while it burns a gaping hole in all wallet, or even try and sell it some kindly gamer willing to help me out.
- Barclays – PINSentry security my ass! if I was a little less lazy I’d have switched to Lloyds already.
- Can’t quite manage to break my nail biting habit
- That having nearly lost my wallet I am inadvertently super concious about everything in my pocket. All the time.

I’m not “making you” contribute – I do offer incentives! Doing the dishes to make you write your witty ramblings is quite good trade-off I think!
