Ok, so Sajid discretely pointed out that we haven’t updated in a while. Because we are very busy and a tiny bit stressed out at the moment, this post will take the shape of a bulleted list.

o Schrödinger is ill. He was lethargic over the weekend and then Tulpesh saw him licking his litter. I Googled this and found he could be anaemic. A bit of further Googling told us we had to look at his gums. A couple of fun chases and mouth pokings later we had confirmed that his gums were a lot paler than his brother’s, panicked, and phoned the vet’s emergency number. The vet came on an our of hour home visit and took Schrödinger to hospital, where he’s been since Sunday night. He does not have: internal bleeding, signs of having eaten onion or paracetamol, AIDS, leukemia, regenerative anaemia or kidney problems. Today they did a bone marrow biopsy. Tomorrow we find out the results, and we might be able to take him home. Shoe, we miss you so!

o In other news, Tulpesh travelled down to London today to hand in my application for an Indian visa. What a fun two and a half weeks it’s been since my passport fell apart in Helsinki and we realised time was running a teeny bit short to get this sorted before I need my passport to go home for Christmas! £110 later, the application is IN. Now starts the waiting. (I did buy the Top 10 Dubai guidebook from DK (60% off as they are part of Pearson). So I am getting very excited!)

o Tulpesh is coming to Norway from the 19th to the 23rd of December! We are meeting with the wedding venue on the Saturday, and the photographer and the officiant on Monday (separately). I also hope to book the florist and cake baker then. Woop!

Yesterday was our 6-year anniversary, and we celebrated with a lovely, romantic dinner. Six years! I am really amazed it’s already been that long – here’s to another sixty! <3

For our anniversary Tulpesh got me my favourite chocolates, a lovely card and an absolutely stunning ring – meant as an ‘upgrade’ for my engagement ring. It’s made of white gold with an emerald-cut aquamarine. Aquamarine is a light blue beryl, which is actually my zodiac stone! The aquamarine is flanked by diamonds and I think the ring is absolutely gorgeous!

Less than 10 months until our wedding now – and I’ll spend a lot of that time gazing at my beautiful fiancé and my beautiful ring! <3

I’ve updated our wedding site a bit this morning: I’ve added some navigation, some more links, and a countdown timer! It’ll be a really useful tool once we start planning properly, and a good way to keep in touch with our guests. Let us know what you think!
